# Shortlist overview

> The shortlist is your project's working list of candidates: a sortable table you fill from search and imports.

The **Shortlist** is the curated list of candidates you're pursuing for a project. It's a
single table where you collect people, track where each one stands, and open their full
profile to dig in. Like everything else, the shortlist is scoped to the
[current project](/projects/overview).

## The shortlist table

Each candidate is a row, holding the people you've added from a search or imported by
LinkedIn URL. Every column is sortable (click the header), and you can **Search by name** or
**Filter by Status** from the toolbar at the top.

| Column           | What it shows                                                                                                             |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Full Name**    | The candidate's name; click the row to open their full profile.                                                           |
| **Profiles**     | Links to the candidate's profiles (such as LinkedIn).                                                                     |
| **Status**       | Where the candidate is in your pipeline, set from a dropdown (see [Tracking candidates](/shortlist/tracking-candidates)). |
| **Owner**        | The teammate responsible for the candidate.                                                                               |
| **Date**         | When the candidate was added.                                                                                             |
| **Current Role** | Their current job title.                                                                                                  |
| **Organization** | Their current company.                                                                                                    |
| **Education**    | Their highest or most recent education.                                                                                   |
| **Location**     | Where they're based.                                                                                                      |

## Adding candidates

    Click **Import**, paste one or more **LinkedIn profile URLs**, and Clarvo validates them
    and pulls the candidates in. Invalid links are flagged so you can fix them.

## Removing candidates

Tick the checkboxes next to one or more candidates (or **Select all**) and choose **Remove
Candidates from Shortlist**. This takes them off the shortlist for this project.
